#1:  Please continue to practice reading passage sent home Monday in the Apple Binder.  This passage will be practiced at home and signed (initials) at the bottom every night.  Set a timer for one minute, and let your child read to you.  Also let him/her read the entire passage for you during the week.  I will be checking every Friday! :)

#2:  You will be given a one page list of "High Frequency Words" or "Fry" words to practice for the 2nd nine weeks.  Your child knows to keep this in his/her Apple Binder.  We are looking for words to be read correctly and fluently~~these are NOT timed.

Our PE Department will be selling JUICE FLAVORED shaved ice this year.  The next scheduled date is October 15th.  Please send $1.50 CASH at least two days ahead.  Make SURE you send exact change in an envelope or zip bag with your child's name and homeroom teacher clearly identified. The money raised will be used to purchase additional PE and playground equipment.  Thank you so much!

Remember to put your child’s name, phone number, “E. Boyer” and lunch number on checks.

Put ALL MONEY in a zip bag or envelope telling what it is for.  Children do not remember.
