**Due to weather days last week, we will carry over lessons into this week. Practice the same spelling words every night! You will need to check your green Spelling page in your Apple Binder. Dictation sentences this week will include the following:
1. Write a sentence with an irregular plural noun (such as feet, teeth, mice, children).
2. Write a sentence about your favorite holiday (such as Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, Fourth of July).
Parents! Please remember us as you are shopping. We need notebook paper and pencils. We prefer NO "Dixon" pencils as the lead breaks easily. Thank you for helping our class!

Take a handful of coins, put them in order from greatest to least, then "add on" to find the total amount. Also practice telling time using an analog clock (with hands). We will tell time to the nearest half hour and quarter hour first.
