October 22 - 26, 2012

Parents:  We have been asked to remind you that checkout time in the office is 2:15 p.m.  After that time, you must wait in the car rider line.  Also remember that students MUST have a written note in order to change transportation.  The large number of phone calls are becoming a problem.  You may FAX your request to change transportation.  Planning ahead is crucial.  We need your help with these things and appreciate your kindness in remembering!

THIS IS RED RIBBON WEEK!  We will celebrate each day:
Monday----Red Ribbon Day: Wear red
Tuesday---Sock it to Drugs: Wear pajamas/silly socks
Wednesday---It's a Jungle Out There!  Wear camouflage or animal prints
Thursday-----Team Up Against Drugs: Wear CES, SEHS, or team shirts. Pep Rally in the gym with SEHS cheerleaders and football players.
Friday--------Costume Parade!  Dress up in age appropriate costume.  DO NOT dress up in costumes that display violence or may be seen as scary.  Do not send toy swords, guns, etc.  The purpose of this day is to enjoy make believe!
*Students will parade through the halls of the other grades beginning at 8:15 with Kindergarten.

**After the parade, classes will enjoy a special snack in the classroom.

Wednesday, October 31st -- "Pink Out!  Wear Pink!" NO costumes.
