Classroom Needs: Thank you for supporting us all year long. Here are a few things we need in order to make it to the end of the year, especially during cleanup! Please consider sending these:
**Lysol or Clorox wipes
**Lysol Spray
**Windex Spray
**More Kleenex tissues :^)
DIBELS testing is in one week on Tuesday, May 8th. PLEASE continue to practice your timed one-minute readings! Many students are very close to 90 words per minute! Your hard work is really showing :^)
Our trip to visit third grade classes at Airport Road Intermediate will be on May 16th. We will leave CES at about 8:15. There is NO COST and parents may meet us there to tour the school.

SPELLING: We are learning spelling words that end with -tion or -ture .
GRAMMAR: We will learn to use commas correctly.
MATH: Students will be introduced to multiplication as "repeated addition."
Continue to work on facts. Best (-) score out of 9 will be counted for a grade. We will practice five minute drill, 100 (+) facts.
SOCIAL SCIENCE: This week students will discover reasons why our country is great! We are learning about symbols of freedom and patriotism.
