**LANGUAGE/HANDWRITING
We will learn how to read and write commands and exclamations. A command tells someone to do something.  An exclamation is a sentence that shows excitement!

**MATH
This week we are learning more about sums through 18. Students will practice all the different ways we can use 10 to make sums of 18.  Check apple binder for homework this week. You must learn addition facts! Use addition flash cards, games and computer activities to reinforce facts. *The best one out of nine fact drills will be counted as a math grade.

**SOCIAL SCIENCE
Students will begin studying landforms and bodies of water. We are going to make a "Geography Dictionary" with meanings and illustrations. Please do not lose this, as it is going to be used for a grade!
