*February 21: A regular school day. This is our makeup day for bad weather recently.

*Remember special updates regarding changes in grading for second semester Spelling tests. All words still count 5 points each. Dictation sentences are worth 5 points, too. One mistake on a dictation sentence is -5 points. Remember to practice words missed on each test, because those words will often be seen in the next week's dictation sentences!

Great site for telling time!
I have found a great site online for teaching your child how to tell time to the nearest five minutes and nearest minute. Please look this up... You will need to control the buttons to move the hands, and ask your child to call out the time. There are other games on this site as well. Students MUST be able to tell time using both the analog clock (with hands) and digital (numbers only). I hope you enjoy this as much as we have in our class!

We had a wonderful Christmas Holiday and New Year's Day.... and now we are BACK TO WORK :^)
Information for Parents:
*Please note that Spelling and Language tests are next Monday! We will complete Unit 3 Testing next week, Tuesday through Friday.
*Report Cards - Thursday, January 6th. Please sign and return all papers.
A and A-B students will receive a Chick-fil-A coupon AND a Coosada bumper sticker!
