We will begin our third quarter of school learning how to add and subtract two 3-digit numbers!  Students will learn about geometric shapes, counting money, and telling time.  **Please go ahead and start counting a handful of change on the table at home.  We will start counting quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies.  Also, we are using an analog clock (one with hands) to tell time.  Please also begin practicing telling time to the nearest half hour and quarter hour.

**SOCIAL SCIENCE
Students will begin the study of our State of Alabama.  We will learn about our state flag, bird, flower, motto, and locate Montgomery, the capital.
