NEWS FOR PARENTS:
Classroom Needs: Thank you for supporting us all year long. Here are a few things we need in order to make it to the end of the year, especially during cleanup! Please consider sending these:
**Lysol or Clorox wipes
**Lysol Spray
**Windex Spray
**More Kleenex tissues :^)
**FIELD TRIP to Ace Bowling is Thursday, April 26th.
**Field Trip to SEHS to see the play, "Willie Wonka" is on Tuesday, May 1st. Please send $2.50 and permission form this week!
Our trip to visit third grade classes at Airport Road Intermediate will be on May 16th. There is NO COST and parents may meet us there to tour the school.
*Teacher Appreciation is May 7 - 11~~
**HONORS DAY for 2nd grade Blue pod is scheduled for Friday, May 25th. We will have brunch in our room at 10:00, and the Honors Day program in the gym from 11:00 - 11:45. Information regarding our food for brunch will be coming soon!

Reading: Our story for this week is "Just Like Josh Gibson." Please read at home with an adult every night! **TEST will be on FRIDAY morning due to bowling field trip.
SPELLING: We are spelling contractions with 're, 've, and 'd
GRAMMAR: We will practice using correct capitalization for names, dates, and places.
MATH: Students will finish perimeter and area. Continue to work on facts. Best (+) score out of 9 will be counted for a grade. We will practice five minute drill, 100 (-) facts.
