NEWS FOR PARENTS:
Classroom Needs:  Thank you for supporting us all year long.  Here are a few things we need in order to make it to the end of the year, especially during cleanup!  Please consider sending these:  
**Lysol or Clorox wipes
**Lysol Spray
**Windex Spray
**More Kleenex tissues :^)

DIBELS testing is in one week on Tuesday, May 8th.  PLEASE continue to practice your timed one-minute readings!  Many students are very close to 90 words per minute!  Your hard work is really showing :^)


**Field Trip to SEHS to see the play, "Willie Wonka" is on Tuesday, May 1st.  Please send $2.50 and permission form this week!

Our trip to visit third grade classes at Airport Road Intermediate will be on May 16th.  There is NO COST and parents may meet us there to tour the school.

*Teacher Appreciation is May 7 - 11~~

**HONORS DAY for 2nd grade Blue pod is scheduled for Friday, May 25th.  We will have brunch in our room at 10:00, and the Honors Day program in the gym from 11:00 - 11:45.  Information regarding our food for brunch will be coming soon!

Please send Kleenex tissues... We need enough to last until the end of the year.  Thank you to all parents who have sent so many supplies for our class!  We seem to need quite a LOT of tissues this year.



LAST day for checks will be April 23rd


**FIELD TRIP to Ace Bowling is Thursday, April 26th.  $10.00 should already be paid and sent with the permission form.  If your child is NOT going, I need a written note saying he/she will not attend. We already have four chaperones going with us that day.

NEWS FOR PARENTS:


Mock ARMT will take place Tuesday through Friday. No homework will be sent home this week. Please make sure that your child gets plenty of sleep, a good breakfast, and is on time for school each day.


LAST day for checks will be April 23rd


PLEASE send small prizes for our Spring Fling "Ring Toss" this Saturday!

We are still in need of one black cartridge, HP Officejet 901.  Walmart and Office Depot carry these in two packs or single.




**April 14th is Spring Fling/Mustang Stampede 5k & Fun Run.  
Spring Fling games and activities are from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

**April 10th PTA Meeting with BLUE PODS performing (that's us!) Pizza served at 5:30.  Meeting begins at 6:00 p.m.
