NEWS FOR PARENTS:


**Can you help?  Our class is in need of ink for our classroom printer!  We need HP 901, black and tricolor.   

Friday, November 11th is Veteran's Day---- We are out of school!

We are still accepting new PTA memberships throughout the year!

Join us for MATH NIGHT on November 8th!  Pizza will be served at 5:30, and Math Games in your child's class begin at 6:00 p.m. Many of you have returned your "YES" form letting us know to plan for you.  

**Important notice:  This year, Thanksgiving lunch will be served to students and teachers only.  We will not be taking reservations.  CES students will celebrate Thanksgiving on November 17th.

LANGUAGE/SPELLING

This week we are reviewing and testing Unit 2 skills.


MATH
We will practice and understand place value, and <, >, =.  Continue to practice (+) facts for 5 minute (+) fact drill and 2 minute (-) fact drill.


SOCIAL SCIENCE
We are learning about Thanksgiving, the Pilgrims, and contributions by Native Americans. .

  1. Hi! I am sending some items to school with Matthew Dean on Monday, so be sure to check his bag. He will forget to give them to you and bring it all back home to me! You should find: a black ink cartridge, disinfectant spray, Lysol wipes, paper towels, Kleenex,and notebook paper. Let me know if I can help with anything else. Thanks for being so good to my baby boy!

  2. You have absolutely made my day!! He brought the whole stack straight to me, and I nearly cried... You should have seen the smile on his face :^) Thank you for your generous donation! We have had several parents send paper, and you all will never know how wonderful it is to ask for supplies and receive. It's amazing how an ink cartridge can make a teacher feel like she's just been given a dozen roses!!! Matthew is a joy, and I love seeing him every day.
