**April 9, 2011 - SPRING FLING! 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Vendor Booths available for $25 - contact Patti Foshee if interested. We need LOTS of volunteers!
GOTCHA Bowling Field trip: Make sure to send your field trip form and $10.00 soon! We will go to Ace Bowling on Wednesday, April 20th. Parents who are going with us will be signing a chaperone page very soon!

Student of the Week: Jordan Meetze
**READING/SPELLING --- Story for this week, "Bad Dog, Dodger!" Read story every night.
Practice Spelling words.... Write words 4 times every night!
DAY ONE - Monday --- Read story at home tonight, and remember to practice Spelling words.
DAY TWO - Tuesday--- Continue reading and practicing Spelling words.
DAY THREE - Wednesday --- Prepare for test tomorrow!
DAY FOUR - Thursday --- Reading Selection Online test.
DAY FIVE - Friday --- Spelling and Language Tests.
All students are to read AR books at home with an adult, every night!
**LANGUAGE/HANDWRITING
We will learn about singular and plural pronouns this week.
**MATH
Students will learn about three digit numbers: Place value, standard and expanded notations, 100 more, 100 less, and comparing three digit numbers by <, >, =.
**Fact drill this nine weeks is 100 subtraction facts, 5 minutes. Again, the best out of nine tests will be counted.
**SOCIAL SCIENCE:
Students are learning about our country, North America, and the continent which includes the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. We will discover facts about boundaries, other continents, and oceans.
