**Supply Lists for 2015-16 are on our school website. Teachers will be sending a more detailed list late this coming summer :)
Our class can still use some very important items. Parents, please continue to send paper towels, facial tissues, and #2 pencils. Thank you so much!

**READING/SPELLING: Our story for this week is "A Birthday Basket for Tia." We will read our story then learn more about comparing and contrasting parts of the story. Reading Test WILL be on Thursday. Spelling words include words with -tion and -ture. Spelling Test will be on Friday.

WRITE DICTATION SENTENCES EVERY DAY. Your practice shows when we have our test.
**Students must write Spelling words and read AR books at home every single night!
**LANGUAGE/HANDWRITING: This week we will use context clues to find meanings of important words we may not know.

**MATH This week we will continue studying data, charts, and graphs. Work on addition facts. I have sent home timed drills with examples on the back to practice.
**SOCIAL SCIENCE
Students are enjoying learning about our country's symbols of freedom! We will read about our first president, George Washington.
